Betty Maybin is Vice-President and co-owner of Cornerstone Realty. Betty has been in the banking and real estate industries all of her career. While at Midland Federal Savings, Betty was an Urban Loan Specialist, responsible for coordinating, closing and servicing FHA insured multi-family construction and permanent project loans.
Betty joined Larry Nelson and other former Midland people at Colorado Mortgage Services and was a Vice President and the office manager. She supervised construction and permanent loan servicing including the Boarded-up Housing Rehabilitation Program
In 1987, Larry founded Cornerstone Financial and Real Estate Corporation and was joined by Betty in 1988. They have continued to specialize in assisting in acquisition, development and marketing of affordable housing in Metro Denver. Cornerstone has become a leader in assisting governmental agencies and non-profit housing developers in delivering affordable housing to the consumer. Larry and Betty were nominated for the prestigious Eagle Award in 1999. Betty has worked for many years in the Hope III, now HomeAccess Program to provide affordable housing for persons with disabilities and was featured in an article in the national trade publication "Realtor Magazine" in July of 2001. Cornerstone clients from all walks of life are at ease with Betty's easy going style and professional skill.
Betty hails from Corpus Christi, Texas but has called the Denver area her home since 1963.
